The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing tax strategies that support the overall business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the tax department, providing guidance and support to team membersOversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returnsDevelop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilitiesEnsure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirementsProvide expertise on tax issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactionsCollaborate with other departments to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisionsMonitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the organizationServe as a key point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authoritiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA certification is requiredMinimum of 8 years of experience in tax management or a similar roleStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax lawsExperience with tax planning and compliance for corporationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and in a hybrid team environmentBenefitsFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
