We have a collaborative that is growing significantly. Position OverviewThe Controller will oversee all financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards while providing strategic guidance to enhance financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of cost accounting and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting.Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.Oversee cash flow management and forecasting, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate timely completion and resolution of issues.Support government contracting compliance and reporting requirements, particularly with DoD contracts.Implement and maintain ERP systems to streamline financial operations and reporting.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles, with at least 2 years in a Controller position or similar.Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and GAAP compliance.Experience with internal controls and audit processes.Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Experience in government contracting and understanding of DoD regulations is a plus.BenefitsMedicalDentalVision401kPTOBonusFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
