Our team is continuing to grow and looking to add a Controller to the mix. Position OverviewThe Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role will play a key part in strategic planning and budgeting, providing insight into financial performance and driving efficiencies within the finance department.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of financial statements and reports.Oversee budgeting processes and financial planning activities, providing strategic insights to support decision making.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including tax regulations.Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for senior management to enhance operational performance.Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide financial insights on construction projects.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is desired.Minimum of 8 years of experience in a controller or similar financial management role, preferably in the construction or general contractor industry.Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting processes.Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, experience with Sage and Procore is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsPTOHealth InsuranceVision, Dental packagesBonus packageGrowth opportunity$180-200kFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
