Whether through research and development, technology innovation or solution engineering, our people play vital roles in connecting consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Build and manage multiple high performance Software Development teams, delivering high-quality enterprise-grade software and managing end-to-end developmentDrive complex technical projects from planning through executionEncourage automation and adopt Devops modelEstablish software development standards and processes along with best practicesWork on technical POC's to prove out technology and ultimately leading into selectionHire, manage, mentor developers and handle people related issuesHelp team and take responsibility to diagnose, de-bug and analyze production issues.Provide technical input into effort estimation, impact assessment, application requirements with respect to functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirementsWork with Onshore / Offshore stakeholders on overall deliverySkills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience:Engineering degree with 14 plus years of total experience with 6+ years of experience in managing application development teamsSkills and Qualifications:Proven track record of designing and developing large scale, high quality full stack software systems using Java, Spring Boot, API using DevOps methodologyExperience in designing and developing REST based services / Microservices and IntegrationsFamiliar with deployment in Docker containers orchestrated by KubernetesExposure to AWS/GCP or any other cloud platform, APIGEE Edge, CI/CDThis role requires a good understanding of the SDLC, new ways of developing software including Agile and DevopsExposure to Telecom OSS will be an added advantageCandidates should have strong communication skills (written and verbal)Experience in front end technology will be plusSalary RangesCompensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
