Emergency Medicine Physician

- Start Date * December 21, 2024 - ongoing - Schedule * 12-hour shifts (7a-7p; 7p-7a), including weekends * Specific dates: * Dec 25th - Jan 2nd (7a - 7p) * Dec 26th (7p - 7a) * Jan 1st (7p - 7a) * Jan 18th - 19th (7a - 7p) * Jan 21st - Jan 23rd (7p - 7a) * Jan 30th - Feb 4th (7a - 7p) - Clinical Details * Average of 1.5-2 patients per hour * Feels more like a big hospital, but it's actually a critical access hospital - Requirements * PALS, ATLS, ACLS * Board Certified ABEM only * Active ND license or IMLC * DEA * Must be comfortable with all ages and procedures (Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Airway Management OB/GYN and Deliveries, Adult and Pediatric resuscitation) * Local candidates - Preferred - Support Staff * Coverage is supplemented with employed APPs that work 10a-10p * A lot of support staff that you find at a bigger hospital * On Mondays, facility has 2 APPs due to higher census - EMR * Meditech
