Reporting into the Group Treasurer, you will lead our global cash management team and build out our corporate treasury function. This will be blended with broad corporate finance knowledge with effective program management.You Will:Manage a global team with talent in Seattle, London, Philippines, and NicaraguaManage our global cash resources and full life cycle for treasury payments including settlement of all wire payments and FX trade settlementsConduct strategic cash management reviews, developing cash management strategy, building policy, reporting, technology, and process roadmapsForecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment, ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirementsKey owner of Remitly’s debt portfolio. Managing our bank facilities, including origination, renewals, drawdowns and headroomDevelop centralized and standardized global bank account administration and documentation processesKey stakeholder in corporate entity managementReview our cross entity FX and balance sheet exposures, taking action to correct any imbalance, recommending hedges where appropriateDevelop and maintain strong banking relationships to ensure delivery of appropriate and cost-effective global banking services and supportIdentify, recommend, and help implement new technologies and enhancementsYou Have:Significant 10 or more years of experience in Treasury functions, ideally in large international environment, with previous change-management / integration experience desirableExperience in Debt origination and managementHas a deep understanding of bank account management, international funds flows and cash management systemsExperience with foreign exchange and intercompany cash management and structuringBroad experience across banking platforms, treasury workstations and/or ERP systemsA team approach: will be a key player with building out new markets and will require collaboration across the organizationStrategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication; able to communicate complex financial issues in simple, understandable termsKnowledge of accounting processes and internal controlsExperienced leader that must be prepared to be hands-on and lead from the frontSelf-starter, highly ethical, reliable, highly communicative with the demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervisionBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related fieldPreferred:Experience leveraging machine learning or artificial intelligence for insight and automationExperience in fintech industry, especially paymentsProfession certification (CTP or CPA) a plusCompensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $164,000-$205,000.
