About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Administration to serve as the chief financial officer, overseeing all fiscal and business affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the finance team in budget development, financial planning, and management of the College's investments and debt. This role also involves collaboration with the enrollment management and marketing team on financial aid strategy, as well as with institutional advancement to ensure proper scholarship management. The VPFA will also supervise the facilities and capital project team, the human resources team, the information technology team, and the public safety team, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all administrative functions. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance and Administration position at the company should hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of seven years of senior-level fiscal management experience, with a strong background in strategic planning, finance, and budget operations. The role requires a proven track record of leadership, preferably in a higher education or non-profit setting, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the institution's mission and strategic initiatives, as well as the ability to manage college-wide risks and serve as a resource for board committees. A CPA or equivalent accounting expertise is preferred, and the candidate should demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining strong relationships with the community.
