Qualifications:
- Post-secondary university or college technical degree and/or equivalent work experience
- PEng or CET considered an asset
- PMP considered a strong asset
- 2-5 years of Project Management experience
- 1-3 years of People Leadership experience
- Excellent Communication Skills and experience interfacing with customers and frontline teams
- Detail oriented, knowledge of contract law, and experience with contract management considered a strong asset
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, and, AutoCAD considered a strong asset
- Analytical thinking and able to make effective decisions
- May be required to work additional hours to meet schedule requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Leadership Team to establish and maintain customer relations and business opportunities.
- Work with the Business Leadership to prepare and review bid and tender packages that conform to Company Policies and Procedures
- Act as main interface between Company and Customer, on all project matters.
- Support and coordinate the project team's work to implement the project scope - including: Leadership, Administration, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Trades.
- May be required to supervise Trades or other team members based on project need.
- Responsible for the overall project planning, scheduling, budgets, and reports of all assigned projects.
- Ensure that all project work activities follow local legislative and labor requirements, contract requirements, and Company Policies and Procedures
- Responsible for promoting and encouraging a safe workplace and supporting compliance with the Company's Safety Policy at the project location.
- Manage sub-contractors, tools and equipment required based on project need.
- May be required to review and approve timesheets and vacation requests based on project need.
- Ensure all project staff and direct reports understand and comply with all JDI code of conduct policies.
