As a Robotics Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure the successful operation of our robotic system.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations across the United States for on-site installation of our cutting-edge robotic systems.
- Provide comprehensive training to users on the functionality and operation of the robotic solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customers to gather feedback on system operation and contribute to refining operating models.
- Offer technical troubleshooting assistance to on-site technicians, aiding in resolving challenges they encounter.
- Conduct training sessions for new technicians, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle the robotic system.
- Create and maintain detailed supporting documentation for standard procedures, empowering technicians to handle various scenarios effectively.
- Proactively monitor dashboards to identify potential technical issues and dispatch timely support as required.
- Compile and analyze usage metrics, providing valuable insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field such as mechanical, electrical, or computer science
- Knowledge of autonomous robotics system architecture and related components
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical hardware from industry experience or project teams
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and software diagnostic tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent deductive reasoning and analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team
- Up to 75% travel
