Candidates who apply after may be referred on a periodic basis depending on staffing needs. Duties In this position, you will perform meaningful professional work in the field of Family Practice. A typical day includes: Providing a full range of family practice services, e.g. examining, diagnosing and treating patients newborn to age 65; Documenting patient history using electronic medical records; Performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic studies, prescribing medications and performing patient education. Promoting preventative and health maintenance care including annual physicals and positive health care behaviors through education and counseling; Providing clinical practice oversight by reviewing medical care and clinically related processes and policies. Key Requirements You must be a US Citizen Accredited MD or DO, or ECFMG or Fifth Pathway certification Active physician license awarded by any state Males must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. Selectee must be determined suitable for federal employment. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Selectee is required to participate in the direct deposit pay program.
