Senior Technical Product Manager, Head of Product, SAP Success Central

AWS is looking for leaders like you to help launch SAP Success Central (SAPSC), a dedicated Center of Excellence providing SAP expertise and managed services to help teams across Amazon accelerate their SAP journey while raising the bar on security, developer efficiency, operational excellence and financial responsibility.SAPSC is part of the Success Central team who also operate Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) which is a Center of Excellence for Salesforce across Amazon. Success Central owns security mechanisms and financial governance related to Salesforce/SAP development, and delivers company-wide, reusable components for common Salesforce/SAP use cases and recommended third-party solutions. We provide managed Amazon integrated solutions for security, DevOps and system integrations as well as expertise, training and community to grow our talent and share Salesforce/SAP best practices and learnings across Amazon. Delivering at Amazon scale and building industry-grade solutions, we partner closely with Salesforce/SAP business and technical leadership. We give Salesforce/SAP superpowers with AWS innovation. On the Success Central team, you’ll be responsible for defining the the product and service vision for SAPSC to maximize our value to Amazon teams innovating with SAP. You will be the pioneer in extending the Success Central program to SAP by working with internal teams interested in or already using SAP to understand the demand and formulating a GTM strategy and resourcing plan to support these teams. You will own the business model on how teams can “pay” for our offerings based on the value that we deliver to ensure Customer Obsession and Ownership. You will lead our consulting partners to provide SAP expertise to Amazon and build out SAPSC. Key job responsibilitiesAs the Head of Product, you will define the strategic vision and own the long-term roadmap for major suites of technology products with company-wide impact. Working with technical teams within Success Central, you will use your product domain expertise, customer obsession, and ownership of the end-to-end product development cycle (customer engagements, stakeholder buy-ins and requirements definition, CX design, compliance, feature definition and prioritization, product messaging, go-to-market strategies, and post-launch closed-loop feedback mechanisms) to lead products and teams through strategic and technical ambiguity to ultimate success. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market and technical and business outcomes, clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes. Beyond a strong technical background and proven track record of product management, a successful candidate will have experience driving strategy and influencing executive leadership. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.Basic qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience- 7+ years of experience with 4+ years of technical product management experience in a related industryPreferred qualification - Deep experience with SAP- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences- Demonstrated experience translating customer needs and product opportunities into innovative and detailed product requirements for business applications with large and divers customer bases and business use cases- Proven track record of delivering results in company-wide, cross-functional technical initiatives- MBA, and/or advanced degree in computer science or related field- Experience managing contractors- Experience owning enterprise-wide business applications and workflows with critical business, security, and compliance impact- Experience coordinating teams across multiple business units and time zones- Experience architecting a solution on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS)Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
