We are currently seeking a dynamic Dental Office Manager / Insurance Coordinator to join our growing team and help us continue to deliver outstanding service.

Job Description:

As the Dental Office Manager / Insurance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office and overseeing all aspects of patient insurance and billing. Your primary responsibility will be to manage day-to-day office functions while also coordinating insurance claims and verifying coverage. You’ll be the point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance inquiries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the dental office, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and maintaining office workflows
  • Coordinate and process dental insurance claims, including verifying coverage, submitting claims, and following up on outstanding claims
  • Handle patient insurance verification and pre-authorizations for treatments
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial obligations
  • Oversee patient billing and collections, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers to streamline claim resolution
  • Maintain patient records, manage patient communications, and ensure all office policies are followed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dental office management and/or insurance coordination is required
  • Familiarity with Dentrix software and insurance billing systems
  • Knowledge of dental insurance policies, procedures, and terminology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and insurance representatives
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; dental-related certifications or additional training is a plus
