About the RoleWe are seeking an emerging leader to lead operations, process, and systems for our Strategic Finance team. You will spearhead advanced financial planning, budgeting, and reporting initiatives that significantly impact our executive decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background, expert proficiency in financial modeling, systems expertise, and comfort with accounting and finance; including how financial inputs and statements interact. This role will also play a key financial partnering role likely supporting our Operations (and potentially additional departments) and also present to and interact directly with our Senior Leadership Team. These leadership exposures will provide not only invaluable learning opportunities, but also the visibility critical to success and career progression at Hinge Health.What You'll AccomplishOperations and Process: Develop and oversee process for all team activities including: detailed schedules for earnings reports, Board reporting, fiscal planning/forecasts, and other key deadlines. Design and manage processes and methodologies for the team’s data structure and location. Oversee ongoing enhancement of financial processes to ensure they align with corporate goals and optimize efficiency and accuracy.Internal Collaboration: Effectively liaise via communications and effective use of financial systems with Accounting, Financial Systems, Revenue Operations, and other key stakeholders around close activities, forecast and other financial operations.Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop comprehensive financial forecasts and budgets that align with, inform and influence Hinge Health’s strategic objectives.Reporting: Develop financial reports and presentations that provide valuable insights for senior executives and the Board of Directors. Improve the visibility and accessibility of financial reports and dashboards, focusing on visual design to support informed decision-making at all levels.Corporate Financial Modeling: Collaborate on developing quarterly, annual and long-term model assumptions, drivers, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage GAAP-only model inputs such as stock-based compensation.Hinge Health Hybrid ModelWe believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.Basic Qualifications8+ years of finance experience with a strong background in Corporate FP&A at a public company or a late stage private company..Track record of articulating complex data into actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making.Advanced financial modeling and data manipulation skills using Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as NetSuite and Adaptive PlanningExpertise in utilizing financial planning tools such as Adaptive Planning coupled with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)Exceptional communication skills with the capability to articulate financial concepts and insights clearly to stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsFinance experience within SaaS industryProficiency in managing large datasets with SQL and Python.CompensationThis position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
