Job Title: Custodian, Part-time (M-F 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.)

Reports to: Business Manager/Pastor

Location: Saint Katharine Drexel Church | Cape Coral, FL

Classification: Hourly/Nonexempt

Overview

Saint Katharine Drexel Parish is seeking a part-time Custodian to assist with cleaning the Church and Hall.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all counters within premises.
• Sweep all entry and doorways, vacuum the church, mop the church floors.
• Wipe down all pews, wipe down all window sills, deep clean corners and baseboards.
• Clean, disinfect and restock bathrooms, remove all garbage and replace bags.
• Clean glass doors.
• Deep clean the church quarterly.
• Clean the Hall weekly.
• Polish Hall floors semi-annually.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in a position with similar duties and responsibilities preferred.
• Understanding of cleaning solutions, safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste items.
• Lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis, throughout the day.
• Lift and carry at least 60 lbs. on an occasional basis, throughout the day.
• Stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull and climb on a regular basis, throughout the day.
• Strong organization skills.
• Must pass a post offer physical exam.
