AEG is hiring: Accounting/Finance Intern- Spring/Summer 2025 in Lancaster

The Lancaster Stormers, located at Clipper Magazine Stadium, have an exciting opportunity for a 2025 Spring/Summer Accounting/Finance Internship. The Stormers, a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, is in Lancaster, PA. Since the team's inception in 2005, the Lancaster Stormers have won three Atlantic League Championships. Known for winning records and high energy entertainment, the Barnstormers are seeking a hardworking individual to join our team and assist our Accounting Manager with department operations, AP, and AR related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting functions/operations
• Review and verify invoices and employee expense reimbursement reports
• Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain vendor files, including contracts for services and paid items
• Preparing and sending Sponsorship and Non-Gameday Event Invoices
• Receiving payments and creating deposits
• Bank Reconciliations
• Provide customer service to organization employees
• Assist with various special projects
• Maintain confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager, CFO, General Manager and Ownership.

Skills

• Understanding of US GAAP, accounting policies, and procedures
• Solid accuracy and attention to detail
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; Accounting software; HRIS systems
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
