Acentra is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
Job Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst works with the business units to identify problems and system gaps in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information, and works with the development team designing solutions.
Manage requirements, including elicitation, user story creation, customer sign-off, and design documentation delivery.
Collaborates with Project Managers and business owners to create delivery plans for business requirements and implementations. Serves as the liaison between the product and the project team.
Presents technical solutions to the business units, lead client demos and presentations and facilitates JAD sessions.
Acts as the requirements subject matter expert, assists developers and QA analysts during the development phase.
Supports deployment activities, such as release notes, UAT, training and configuration.
Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments (including federal regulations).
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five or more years of experience as a business analyst in a software development environment.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
Proven ability to gather clear business requirements, understand and create workflows, document detailed solutions.
Experience working with data integration projects; analyzing and understanding data and creating data mapping specifications.
Healthcare experience in the following areas is preferred: case management, utilization management, PASRR, waiver management.
Experience documenting APIs.
Experience testing software applications.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum processes.
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other collaboration tools.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Project, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users; ability to convey business problems to ITS/development team.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations is preferred.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $85,900-$143,000 a year. Based on our compensation program, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
