The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Business Analyst, Brand Strategy on the Marketing Team reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Brand Strategy and Innovation. Position Summary: In this position, you will function as an integral part of the Celebrity Cruises Marketing department, and more specifically the Brand Strategy team. The role will use analysis to guide strategy by understanding gaps, performance, and insights to assist in the recommendation and justification of a portfolio of products to be developed as well as recommendations on profit and guest experience maximization. This role will significantly influence decision making related to brand strategy, new revenue streams, newbuilds, fleet modernization, private destinations, and other fleetwide strategies focused on maximizing total enterprise value and the guest experience. This role will lead business case modeling and influence cross functional teams to gain alignment and buy-in from executive leadership for initiatives focused on delivering the long-term financial, marketability, and strategic goals of Celebrity Cruises. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of financial modeling, strategic and analytical skills, and complex problem solving as well as strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills. This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and size commercialization, ship, and private destination opportunities to pursue to maximize revenue and profit. Maintain financial models for brand, product, and commercial initiatives by evaluating data and determining optimal way to spend to accomplish company goals. Lead and partner cross functionally to develop P&L statements for new initiatives and benchmark to existing experiences. Leverage analytics, logic, and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions and conclusions. Lead and partner with Finance to develop, submit, and monitor capital requests to secure funding for brand strategy and innovation projects, including building and substantiating business cases, and once approved, tracking financial spend and updating forecasts in partnership with brand finance and newbuild finance. Serve as a trusted advisor to the broader finance community within the corporation. Lead ad-hoc analyses to guide decision-making on design of future strategies and products by identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop options and implement solutions. Partner cross-functionally with newbuild, hotel operations, revenue management, onboard revenue, deployment strategy, product development, and brand/corporate finance to develop, and consistently update, reasonable assumptions based on performance benchmarks. Present to executive leadership to drive decision making by developing slide presentations that articulate complex details into simple, persuasive, and thoughtful stories. Foster a highly collaborative cross-functional team, where cross-discipline dynamic communication is paramount to success by actively listening to various perspectives and bringing teams together to persuade and reconcile differences. Strong understanding of marketing principles to lead management on strategic initiatives and guide analysis. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study 10 years related business analysis experience and/or training Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Including intricate knowledge not only of advanced formulas (such as index-match), but also excel problem solving abilities to extract analysis and insights out of data dumps. Self-motivated, proactive, business savvy, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Possess strong financial modeling, strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong listening, precaution, presentation, and collaboration skills are required and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, specifically senior level executives where consistent strong communication is a must. Ability to assemble, lead and influence cross-functional teams. Strong business acumen Able to see interdependencies of various functions and bring them together for common goals.
