Description The Continuous Imporvement Engineer (Rubber/ Plastics) will have the following day to day activities:

Value Stream Mapping (VSM):

Analyze production workflows to identify waste and inefficiencies, creating actionable plans to optimize processes. Lean Initiatives:

Lead activities such as 5S, Kaizen events, and standard work documentation to establish a culture of continuous improvement. Six Sigma Application:

Use tools like DMAIC to reduce process variability, eliminate defects, and enhance product quality. Root Cause Analysis:

Identify and resolve bottlenecks through collaboration with cross-functional teams and implementation of corrective actions. Employee Training:

Mentor production teams on lean principles, fostering employee engagement in continuous improvement efforts. Project Management:

Oversee improvement initiatives, monitor KPIs, and communicate progress and results to stakeholders. Efficiency Focus:

Implement sustainable solutions to reduce waste, increase throughput, and align operations with customer requirements. This role is hands-on, requiring a proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and align with customer expectations.

Profile 3-5 Years of Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Lean Engineering position at a manufacturing facility Rubber / plastics manufacturing experience a plus Degree in Engineering Lean Six Sigma Certified Local to Dover, NH
