Material Handling/Receiving Associate

**Job Title: Material Handler****Job Description**Material handler will be fulfilling parts requests by pulling orders, managing inventories, and performing 7s in the stockroom. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, sorting, setting in order, shining, standardizing, sustaining, and fostering team spirit.**AM SHIFT: Monday – Friday (Optional OT available on weekends); AM: 6am – 4:30pm (10-hour shifts)****PM SHIFT: Monday – Friday (Optional OT available on weekends); PM: 4pm – 2:30am (10-hour shifts)****Hard Skills**+ Ability to lift 35-50 lbs. repetitively+ Basic computer skills+ Ability to communicate in English+ Accurately count parts+ Attention to detail+ Ability to operate material handling machinery+ Ability to follow written and verbal directions in English+ 1+ year material handling experience+ 1+ year forklift experience**Soft Skills**+ Ability to take initiative**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Lincolnshire, Illinois.**Work Environment**Manufacturing environment - well lit, temperature controlled**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
