Our client is a provider of specialized governance, risk, and compliance advisory services to Financial Services clients.
Description
Serve as a leader of the corporate governance program
Become a subject matter expert with respect to corporate policies, procedures, and controls
Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures
Oversee the management of corporate books, records, and filings
Maintain the intellectual property roster and manage new trademark applications
Serve as liaison between insurance brokers and management team
Manage legal service process strategies and monitor ongoing litigation
Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding corporate governance
Perform ad-hoc work and special projects to support various client and internal initiatives
Profile
Bachelors Degree required
5-10 years experience as a Corporate Paralegal with a focus on Corporate Governance
Experience exercising discretion and making independent judgments on matters of significance
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
