Busy Personal Injury Law firm looking for an experienced attorney.
Job Responsibilities:
Medical case review
Negotiating and settling cases in the pre-litigation stage or litigation stages
Review policies, claims and other records
Prepare, write, and argue legal documents, including but not limited to memos, theory of liability and demands
Communicate with insurance companies and make sure client medical treatment is managed and billed accordingly
Communicate with clients to provide case status update
Conduct intake meetings with new clients
Manage docket of cases according to office policy
Conduct and attend IME's, EUO's and recorded statements
Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Licensure:
Must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have experience in personal injury law 3 plus years.
Strong negotiation, communication and writing skills
Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
Demonstrate an ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
Analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently

Base pay plus bonus structure
