How You'll Create Possibilities
As our 3rd Shift Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving operational excellence, including:
- Leadership: Oversee and develop Team Leaders and production teams, ensuring alignment with department goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.
- Operations Management: Coordinate daily start-up activities, manage staffing, and ensure smooth production flow.
- Problem Solving: Use Lean manufacturing tools and lead escalation processes to address production challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Champion quality standards, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, and ensure defect-free products.
- Safety Advocate: Foster a culture of safety by ensuring compliance, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead Kaizen events, tackle inefficiencies, and drive initiatives to enhance production performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of operational excellence and team development.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and navigating union relations while driving operational results.
- Proven analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement, with demonstrated success in achieving goals.
