Position: Inventory Control Group Leader
Location: Equipment & Assembly Plant - Pittsburgh, PA

Hours of work: Full-Time position Monday-Friday
The Inventory Control Group Leader will execute daily MRP using SAP, create part numbers/material masters, enter purchasing requisitions, spare parts orders, and field service requests, and is responsible to conduct and report annual physical inventory. The Inventory Control Group Leader will also direct the daily activities of workers in one or more of the functional areas of the Equipment & Assembly Plant, including parts room/shipping & receiving, inventory & cycle counts, and mechanical assembly, both direct reports and as fill-in for absent Group Leader II. Typically, this position will supervise from 2- 10 workers.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Understands and develops safe job procedures, trains employees and enforces all policies and procedures
- Maintains records, approves time, completes SAP transactions, orders production supplies, controls production costs
- Supervise the day-to-day production activity of direct reports and plans production activities to meet schedule deadlines
- Performs hands-on work as required with direct reports to accomplish the necessary work objectives
- Trains, directs, and develops reports in all aspects of the job
- Responsible for the quality and specification compliance of equipment/products produced in the area
- A high school diploma or equivalent certification is required
- An associates degree from a 2-year college or technical school is preferred
- 3-5 years of fabrication experience is required
- SAP experience is preferred
