1st shift Electro-Mechanical Technician

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for installs, maintains, and adjusts to all electrical equipment in good repair.
  
• Assists in planning of major work projects.
  
• Specifies material as required to complete assigned work. Instructs and trains other maintenance personnel.
  
• Installs and repairs electrical and mechanical equipment.
  
• Reads blueprints of machinery and equipment to determine location of machinery parts, their orientation and proper adjustment. Must be capable of producing parts from blue-prints.
  
• Keeps buildings and structures in repair
  
• Makes repair parts as needed using machine tools such as: lathes, milling machines, and drill presses. Uses micrometers and other standard measuring instruments to work to specified tolerances to assure proper fit and operation of the repair part.
  
• Installs machinery and equipment including: rigging, moving, placement, and leveling of equipment prior to its hookup for operation.
  
• Builds & installs jigs and fixtures as required
  

Position Requirements
Passing score on aptitude test is required.
High school diploma/GED along with 4 years technical experience/fornak trades training.
