Job Summary:
The EADS Group, Inc., which began operation in 1955, is actively seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Technician located in our New Brighton or North Huntingdon, PA office. An Engineering Technician is needed to support our current clients and workload.
The preferred candidate will have an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, or a related field, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness and ability to do field work. Certifications/experience relating to sewage enforcement, wetland delineation, permitting, environmental site assessment, and CADD or GIS software is a plus. Sewage enforcement officer certification or ability to obtain is preferred.
Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Civil Engineering Technician will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of design deliverables, permit application packages, report preparation, data analysis, field investigations, inspections, wetland delineations, stream surveys and sewage enforcement.
