Civil Engineering Technician, Lewistown, PA Office
Job Summary:
The EADS Group, Inc., which began operation in 1955, is actively seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Technician located in our Lewistown, PA office. An Engineering Technician is needed to support our current clients and workload.
Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Civil Engineering Technician will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of design deliverables, permit application packages, report preparation, data analysis and field investigations and inspections.
Experienced candidates will have 5 years' related work experience in municipal/sanitary, site development/stormwater management, or a closely related field. Entry-level candidates will have 0 - 3 years' related work experience and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Experience with ESRI software is a plus.
The preferred candidate will have an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are desired.
