Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to management, providing guidance and support in various HR functions. Your expertise will help drive organizational effectiveness and foster a positive workplace culture. You will be instrumental in implementing HR initiatives that align with our business objectives while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role is located in on-site in Rochester, NY. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with department leaders to understand their business needs and provide HR support that aligns with organizational goals. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to address business challenges and enhance employee engagement. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Address employee concerns and conflicts, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring fair resolution. Performance Management: Support managers in the performance appraisal process, providing tools and training to ensure effective performance evaluations. Facilitate discussions on employee development, career planning, and succession planning. Training: Develop and deliver training sessions on various HR-related topics, such as compliance, performance appraisals, policies. HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports on HR activities, workforce trends, and key performance indicators. Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as an HR Business Partner or similar position. Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
