Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Financial Analyst
to join our dynamic team in Miami. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This position offers opportunities for growth within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends to support business objectives. Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to management.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Monitor and report on budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
Data Modeling: Create financial models to evaluate business opportunities, investments, and operational changes. Conduct scenario analyses to assess potential outcomes and risks.
Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with departments to review financial metrics and improve profitability. Analyze operating costs and recommend cost-saving strategies.
Strategic Support: Provide insights on market trends, financial risks, and opportunities for growth. Support strategic planning and decision-making with in-depth financial analysis.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external and internal audits.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects, process improvements, and system implementations as required.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related fields. Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle, or Power BI).
Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Competencies: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Team player with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, CFA, or CPA (or in progress) is a plus. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable. Knowledge of SQL or other data analytics tools is a bonus. What We Offer
