We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in the dynamic environment of Chicago, IL. This role is vital for ensuring the successful completion of sophisticated control systems projects, from design to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities Lead the design and engineering of control systems hardware, ensuring alignment with project specifications and mechanical requirements. Develop and program Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems to meet detailed project plans and specifications. Oversee the start-up process and commissioning of building control systems, coordinating technician work plans and processes. Maintain accurate project records, update drawing sets and software programs, and engineer field changes as needed. Apply advanced skills to troubleshoot systems, analyze complex information, and resolve issues effectively. Qualifications
Advanced understanding of DDC theory and applications, with proven skills in creating and analyzing control programs. Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with building mechanical systems, electronics, and basic electrical circuits. Skilled in using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Ability to work independently and unsupervised while also effectively interfacing with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members. Exceptional interactive and communication skills can convey complex information clearly and effectively. A proven record of local and stable work history within the industry is essential.
