Overview
Join our dynamic Critical Facilities team as a BAS/Critical Facilities Assistant Project Manager. This pivotal role ensures the completion of complex projects, designs and engineers control systems hardware, and creates control programming to meet specific project plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities Engineer and design control systems hardware, ensuring they meet project specifications and mechanical systems requirements. Program complex Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, developing user-friendly graphical interfaces for end-users. Oversee the start-up and commissioning process for building control systems, manage technician work plans, and record all documentation and project conditions accurately. Develop and conduct training sessions tailored to each site's specific needs, ensuring owners are proficient in system operations. Engineer field changes, maintain as-built documentation, and ensure software programs and drawing sets are up-to-date. Qualifications
Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced skills in creating control programs and analyzing complex information, data, and situations. Proven experience with electronics, basic electrical circuits, and building mechanical systems. Proficient in AutoCAD and other project-related software. Demonstrated experience in computer programming. Exceptional interactive and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Strong preference for candidates with a stable work history in the local area. Technical Expertise
Familiarity with Building Automation Systems such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric. Experience with Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
