Dakota Unlimited (a division of Dakota Fence Company, along with 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, and Town & Country Fence) is a growing fence contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, gates and automated gate systems. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Summary:
Manage daily operations, sales activities, facility functions, and financial performance while ensuring safety priorities are met. Provide direction to sales and operations teams, hold team members accountable for achieving company objectives, and foster a positive work environment. Drive and sustain competitive advantages through continuous improvement initiatives, including cross-branch collaboration. Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the branch and with other company locations. Oversee escalations related to customer service, procedural questions, and HR issues. Guide teams on resource allocation and project timelines to ensure efficiency. Hire, train, and manage personnel while conducting regular performance reviews and fostering accountability. Collaborate with leadership on budget preparation, forecasting, and company initiative recommendations, ensuring accountability for achieving targets. Monitor sales forecasts, project leads, and sales development efforts while maintaining insight into the branch's backlog and pipeline. Engage in activities to identify and secure new business opportunities, including expanding services and customer base. Understand the local market and identify growth opportunities while promoting a positive company image. Participate in professional development and attend relevant conventions and sales functions. Perform other tasks as assigned to support company objectives. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field. Minimum (5) five years of experience supervising and managing diverse teams (ideally sales and operations). Construction or related-industry knowledge and experience preferred.
