Position Overview
This position is accountable for providing consultative services to align and integrate project efforts and resources within the business strategy including developing project plans to support the timely delivery of projects and within budget. This position will also monitor project status including financials/budgets and make any necessary adjustments and reviews the quality of the completed work on a regular basis.
What You'll Do
Utilize best practice project management techniques including capacity planning, issue reporting, progress and status updates, task, timeline and budget management, cost/benefit analysis, risk management and issue escalation
Create a detailed work plan that identifies and sequences activities to be completed
In conjunction with subject matter experts, determine the resources required to complete the project and ensure all the resources are allocated effectively and understand the scope and objectives of the project
Create and maintain project artifacts and documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
7-10 years of Project Management experience (Preferably within Banking and/or Financial Services)
Advanced degree (i.e., MBA) or PMP Certification (Preferred)
Proactively manages project spend including reporting of actuals and the creation of the budget
Experience in Project Management theory and/or software
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite including Excel, Word and Power Point required
