SALARY:

Starting at $66,847 (commensurate with experience)

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for administering and maintaining Orange County Property Appraiser Hybrid Infrastructure and assisting in the identification and resolution of problems that may arise during normal operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties of the System-Cloud Administrator include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring on-premises and cloud infrastructure using best practices. Establish and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Implement and manage security policies and procedures to protect the cloud infrastructure. Responsible for administering and managing Microsoft 365 applications and services. Develop and implement scripts and tools to automate systems workflows. Maintain on-premises and Azure Active Directory domains. Identify and resolve problems related to both systems and cloud infrastructure. Secure information systems enforcing organization security and privacy policies and procedures. Research and evaluate new products and services. Maintain system documentation of cloud infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct reports.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Years of experience: Must have at least two (2) years of experience programming web and mobile applications using JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS and other languages for the Esri ArcGIS platform and two (2) years of experience using GIS applications, tools, and resources, including geodatabase configuration and management, geoprocessing, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server. Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited college or university or experience that may be deemed the equivalent of such professional education.

Substitution: (Each year of required education may be substituted by two (2) years of work experience. Each year of required work experience may be substituted by two (2) years of additional education).

Additional skills required: Ability to rapidly acquire and retain knowledge of administrative and procedural regulations. Proven attention to detail, reliability outstanding organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects under minimal supervision. Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
