Job Description:
Cocke County School District is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in a school-based setting. The SLP will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student success Consult with parents and guardians to address concerns and provide strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation Participate in IEP meetings and other related meetings Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Tennessee State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
