Job Description:
The BAS Project Manager will lead and manage all aspects of our building automation projects from inception through completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in BAS, including installation, service, start-up, commissioning, programming, estimating, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple BAS projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget. Liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met. Develop detailed project plans, including scope of work, timeline, and budget. Oversee and manage project installation teams, providing technical support and guidance. Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure project specifications are accurately realized. Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion. Create and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and reports. Conduct quality checks and system testing to ensure that installations meet the required specifications. Provide regular status updates to senior management and clients. Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS). 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in the BAS industry. Stable work history. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to BAS. Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects from inception to completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly Preferred: Prior experience in installation, service, start-up, commissioning, programming, estimating, and engineering in BAS projects. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. PMP, CAPM, or other relevant Project Management certifications.
