Job Summary/Description
This position serves as a liason of the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health at ASU. The position will coordinate with other Institute campuses in the TTU system, coordinate all community outreach efforts essential to the mission of the Institute (that are free to the community!), and facilitate our relationship with our financial donors. This position is essential to the daily operation of the Institute at ASU.
Typical Duties/Job Duties Develop measurable goals for our fundraising events. Create a comprehensive and cohesive sponsorship plan for all of our fundraising efforts. Plan/facilitate/coordinate our annual health education outreach programs (Empower, Girl Power, Pink Out Events). Develop partnerships with local non-profit agencies, local businesses, and donors. Maintain relationships and communications with Community Advisory Board members. Maintain and coordinate office logistics from monitoring office supply needs to coordinating student volunteers and interns. Accounting of Various Budgets
Create and maintain spreadsheets for various accounts; Track encumbrances and travel expenditures, as well as ProCard purchases; Prepare reimbursement forms and perform account reconciliations.
Performs other related duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of secretarial, clerical, and general office procedures and practices including managing files/records, copier and various computer equipment and software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Banner, etc); Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation; Knowledge of basic accounting practices; Ability to perform work requiring accuracy and attention to detail, and to perform those tasks with frequent interruptions and minimum supervision in a timely manner; Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, competence, and resourcefulness; Ability to work well either independently or as part of a team balancing multiple projects; Skilled in delivery of excellent customer service by phone and in person; Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field plus one year experience in the related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
