It offers a unique opportunity to be involved in dynamic and evolving accounting team that is implementing a new ERP. The individual will assist with design, test and integration of these platforms and be a key leader in designing all-new accounting processes post implementation. Principal Responsibilities:
Monthly detailed reviews of standard costs and rates Updates and maintains standard costs and rate models Reviews monthly inventory reconciliations and inventory transactions Monitors physical inventory procedures and periodic and year end counts Account reconciliations and corrections Maintains fixed asset system/schedule updates, including acquisitions and disposals Maintains lease schedule updates Tracks capital projects budgets, requests, and spending Tracks EH&S projects budgets and spending Prepares and analyzes financial information and costs Prepare and enter journal entries as assigned Performs a variety of analytical tasks to support the Corporate Accounting Manager Provides month end and year end closing support Participates in the annual budget preparation Completes project work as assigned Assists with audits and audit schedules Provides support to the Tie Division Accounting & Finance Department Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Corporate Accounting Manager Participates and contributes to company safety program. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from four-year college or university Experience:
Minimum three years cost accounting and business analytics License/Certification:
