Position Summary
As Product Manager, you are responsible for driving the growth and success of The Hair Shop’s product line. You will lead the development of new hair extension, hair care and styling products while managing existing ones, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with the Hair Shop’s business strategy and goals. You will drive the product development processes from concept, development, production to launch to ensure world-class products which delight our customers. Key responsibilities include project management, market analysis, consumer feedback collection and analysis, cross-functional collaboration, quality assurance, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, preferably in the beauty or personal care industry, along with excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and analytical skills.
Essential Functions
Drive the process of developing new products and improved products to launch.
Coordinate successful product development, functional packaging requirements and launches with marketing, sales, operations, and finance teams driven by the product roadmap.
Collaborate with marketing to develop and maintain a two-year new product roadmap which strategically aligns with company goals, strategy, and customer needs.
Collect and synthesize consumer feedback from internal and external resources to create data driven business cases for product-based solutions that meet the customer needs.
Conduct and analyze market research to identify and or support existing product feedback, trends, and new opportunities.
Manage product testing processes and procedures to deliver concise, actionable and effective feedback.
Manage, assess, and implement product feedback to improve and enhance existing product offerings.
Manage the overall product lifecycle across all product lines from ideation, development, launch to sunsetting.
Manage product success metrics, analyze, and evaluate product performance across the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and ensure timely product launches.
Manage project timelines and budgets associated with new product launches.
Ensure best-in-class quality across all products to deliver on the company’s brand promise.
Education & Experience Requirements
5+ years product development and project management experience.
Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Industry Knowledge in Beauty preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Adaptability and a passion for staying ahead in a dynamic industry.

$100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
