Job Title: Director, Supply Chain Mgmt Job Code: 18366 Job Location: Onsite in Rochester, NY, Melbourne, FL, Londonderry, NH, Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: The Director, Supply Chain Operations will report to the Sr Director, Supply Chain Management (SCM) in the Communication Systems (CS) Segment. Serving as part of the CS SCM Leadership team, the Supply Chain Operations Director will directly lead a team supporting strategic initiatives as well as providing shared services, while simultaneously serving as a trusted advisor, strategist, and SME resource to the SCM Sector leaders. Included in the Supply Chain Operations Directors portfolio will be process governance, compliance and auditing of purchasing files, risk management, design for supply chain, and Business System Compliance as well as Small Business, upskilling department talent through training and collaboration initiatives, harmonizing and improving policy and processes, supporting ERP and other software implementation initiatives, and ensuring accurate and consistent data and metrics reporting. Essential Functions: Charged with driving a culture of supply chain excellence and process continuity within the CS Segment. Leads creation and execution of strategies to improve functional excellence, supply chain resilience, subcontracting, SCM Business Systems (Purchasing, Property, MMAS) compliance & training. Support CS Sr. Director in driving standardization and harmonization of process governance, business rhythm and cadence, and establishment of cohesive risk management framework. Directly support key internal and external audit initiatives, including setting strategy and overseeing execution. Represent L3Harris to DCMA/AA as necessary. Oversees continuous improvement initiatives concerning the implementation of best-in-class processes and tools, development of data analytics to provide actionable intelligence and the advancement of operational excellence across all supply chain planning and execution activities for CS. Develops and deploys teams of Supply Chain subject matter experts, which evolves with the needs of the organization, that assist sectors & divisions evaluate and meet their specific supply chain mission while also ensuring integration into other standard L3Harris business activities such as strategic long-range planning; integrated business planning; sales, inventory and operations process and the systems used for material and capacity requirements planning that drive execution. Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in both technical approaches and overall department CONOPS, put forth recommendations with options on improvement, and lead implementation teams. Serve as primary CS SCM leadership POC for corporate-led SCM enterprise wide initiatives, such as unified supplier onboarding and Contract Lifecycle Management System implementation. Represent CS SCM on corporate Government Compliance led Communities of Practice, working across Segments to establish and implement consistent enterprise wide positions around areas of regulatory ambiguity. Serve on tiger teams stood up to help generate enterprise response to new regulations and executive orders. Leads data teams, including Vendor Master, Master Data, Snowflake, Power BI, metrics, and SharePoint management. Lead the CS Small Business team, providing audit and reporting support to both individual site and comprehensive small business subcontracting plans. Drives continuous improvement activities related to the total material lifecycle and supports CS in all aspects of materials planning/scheduling, inventory and warehouse management, logistics and the segment’s Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes. Lead the Design for Supply chain and obsolesces issues partnered with Front Loading. Lead interface for the Business Resiliency and Risk Management Counsels lead by CHQ. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires US citizenship. Preferred Additional Skills: Requires advanced business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business area or functional teams. Broad experience across multiple related professional disciplines within the organization, combining theory, past practical experience and the organization’s business practices. Must have experience with FARS and DFARS. Must have experience driving compliance and supply chain functions. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Highly analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure the success of strategic initiatives. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities, ambiguity and deadlines effectively. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on driving tangible business results and creating long-term value. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $120,500 - $224,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
