Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Program Manager to support critical programs within the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) and the Institute of Security Governance (ISG). This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the planning, execution, and management of initiatives vital to supporting U.S. national security and defense priorities in the Indo-Pacific region. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring project milestones are met while adhering to program objectives, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the profit and loss and technical aspects of a program(s) generating profitable revenue and fee for the company.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Program may be based out of a single location utilizing established technologies requiring standard application to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Directs the work of employees assigned to the program.
Minimum Qualifications
4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
Experience supporting ISG is required.
Experience managing RFP process is required.
Clearance- Must be able to possses and maintain a TS clearance
Preferred Requirements
Experience within INDOPACOM and SOCPAC are highly desired.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.
Knowledge of defense acquisition regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS) and government contracting
Understanding of the Indo-Pacific operational environment and regional security dynamics
