JOB DESCRIPTION Summary Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as a CNC Operator responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. Key Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Load material, cycle machine, remove parts, load parts on and designated parts rack. malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment. Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Maintains logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. Assists in other work areas as needed. Required Qualifications Ability to follow directions and work well in a team Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment High school diploma or equivalent required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Ability to follow directions and work well in a team Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations Associate's degree OR completion of related apprenticeship program preferred 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Operator using a 3-Axis machine Work Environment Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit at times. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10 hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
