Electrical Assembler

Job Description

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering schematics and specifications. You will assemble electrical components and control devices to heavy subassembly units based on electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Tasks include wiring circuits, outlets, and switches, and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet product tolerances. You must know how to operate basic tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders from day one. You will work both independently and in groups, and operate material handling devices and lifts including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile floor cranes. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Requirements

3-5 years of control panel troubleshoot/repair experience

3+ years experience reading/interpreting blueprints or schematics

3-5 years experience working with conduit & up to 480v

Responsibilities

Assembling electrical systems

Reading engineering schematics

Wiring circuits, outlets, and switches

Calibrating parts and mechanisms

Operating material handling devices

Operating basic tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Work Environment

Production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and other hazards. Frequent lifting and moving objects between 10 - 50 pounds. Safety protocols must be followed at all times. First shift 6AM - 2:30PM, Monday to Friday.
