We’re seeking a CNC Mill/Lathe Operator to work at a premier manufacturing company in Rochester, NY. This is a temp-hire, with great opportunity for growth.

What’s a typical day as a CNC Mill/Lathe Operator? You’ll be:
• Setting up and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, milling, and grinding
• Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
• Inspecting machined parts using precision measuring instruments like Coordinate Measuring Machines 
• Assembling machined parts if required
• Utilizing Master Cam programming software to generate machine code
• Ensuring adherence to Lean manufacturing principles
• Applying GD&T principles for accurate part production

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have proficiency in precision machining
• Possess mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble components
• Have experience with Fanuc controls and programming
• Are knowledgeable in Master Cam programming for CNC machines
• Have strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
• Can read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Are familiar with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

This is a position on B-Shift working  Monday thru Thursday 3:30pm – 2:00am
