Associate Director/Assessment & Accreditation Position Number: S-3092 Type of Recruitment: External Position Summary: The Associate Director of Assessment and Accreditation for the College of Education and Human Services (CEHS) is responsible for leadership and implementation of multiple assessment systems that meet state and national accreditation requirements. The Associate Director will support undergraduate and graduate programs across the college as well as across the Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) at CMU. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, higher education, social or behavioral science, or related field. Five years of relevant work experience. Experience with evaluation design and instrumentation. Experience with research computer programs (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, Qualtrics). Experience in student learning assessment, program evaluation, and educational research in higher education or related setting. Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement continuous improvement plans. Excellent organizational, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated experience with data analysis and research design and implementation in an educational or related setting. Demonstrated competency in working with database systems (including Excel), spreadsheets, and statistical analysis software. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and deal with complexity. Demonstrated commitment to practices supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Preferred Qualifications: Master's, Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree in education, higher education, social or behavioral science, or related field. Experience working with Learning Assessment Technology systems (e.g., Taskstream by Watermark). Experience with program accreditation institutions (e.g., Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)). Experience working with university student management systems (e.g., SAP). Experience working with state education agencies. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures the implementation of the Educator Preparation Program (EPP) Quality Assurance System and assessment suite that complies with university, state, and accreditation requirements. Leads completion and submission of the CAEP accreditation reporting (i.e., Annual Report, Self-Study) including updating CAEP Annual Measures on the EPP website. Serves as the CEHS Assessment Coordinator to support programs and faculty in the coordination of formative and summative evaluation reports and findings and external assessment data for CMU assessment plans. Oversees the data management system (i.e., SAP) to ensure data collection and maintenance of official records, assessment activities, and processes. Works collaboratively with the Office of the Provost, relevant university administrators, and faculty, on assessment-related projects. Supports programs and faculty with reports for specialty professional organizations (NAEYC, CACREP, NASP). Leads the completion and submission of the Title II Report. Facilitates EPP continuous improvement via the assessment plan and the EPP Shared Governance Structure. Oversees compliance with the Michigan Department of Education assessment requirements for program approvals and reviews. Plans, coordinates, collects, disaggregates, and disseminates assessment data on education programs and teacher candidates. Manages the collection and dissemination of data provided by the Michigan Department of Education (i.e., MTTC, MDE Surveys, MDE Rosters). Provides periodic (at least annual) reports to the EPP Unit Head and EPP Shared Gover
