About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in non-profit financial leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall financial strategy, including the development and execution of effective financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. This role requires close collaboration with the CEO and the Board of Directors to ensure that the financial strategy aligns with the organization's mission and goals. The CFO will also oversee all financial operations, lead a team of finance professionals, and use their expertise in financial analysis to guide business strategy and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial leadership role within a non-profit environment and hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in budgeting, strategic planning, management, and accounting, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. A deep understanding of non-profit financial regulations and experience in coordinating audits and tax filings are essential. A passion for the non-profit sector and a commitment to the company's mission are also key qualifications for this role.
