**The role youll contribute:**
Under the direct supervision of the department manager or assistant director, this position provides administrative support and general secretarial services. Responsibilities may include document preparation and distribution, arranging meetings, scheduling, generating reports, greeting visitors, and maintaining files. This position requires the use of some independent judgement and appropriate handling of confidential information. Role may handle multiple projects

+ Answers, evaluates, and appropriately responds to phone calls, correspondence, electronic mail, visits, and other inquiries
+ Provides clerical/administrative support, relaying messages, arranging appointments and filing
+ Creates documents, files, prepares correspondence, and produces copies
+ Prepares, edits and distributes reports, agendas, letters, meeting minutes, and other documents
+ Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete tasks and objectives
+ Maintains organized files and office equipment
+ Meets department set SLA/performance standard
+ May be required to provide travel arrangements
+ May be required to conduct/participate in event planning
Qualifications
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
**Required:**
+ Associate's degree
+ Related experience
**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:**
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
+ Effective time management and organizational skills
+ Ability to display professional interactions with all levels of internal and external customers
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
