BASIC FUNCTION

Primary Responsibility:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies, equipment and products within the company warehouse.

WORK

PERFORMED

Responsible for shipping and receiving, loading, and unloading trucks, checking in supplies and equipment, matching purchase orders to processing. Should have the intermediate knowledge of using a PC, the Microsoft Suite and logistic software platforms. SAP is a plus. Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should possess a sense of urgency Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved. Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to pre-determined sequence. Filling requisitions, work orders or request for materials or other stock items. Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or relocating orders. Completing all necessary documentation and legal formalities relating to the goods. Assisting in making inventory reports for evaluations and working under the direction of a supervisor. Marking materials and identifying information using appropriate method. Opening boxes, crates and other containers. Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Will serve as a ride along helper to the Warehouse Driver when needed. Maintain supply inventory utilizing logistics software

Complete requisitions forms to order supplies from other departments. Place replacement supply orders with manager approval. Prepares parcels for mailing. Receives supply orders. Pulls, packs, ships supply orders to customers.

Assists in physical inventory. Sweep, dust and mop, as required. Help organize warehouse for cleanliness and orderliness at all times and ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for visitors.

Perform other duties as required.

Requires high school diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of one-year General Warehouse Experience.

Additional skills required: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, correspondence and safety rules. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to understand ratios, percent's and bar graphs. Ability to operate forklift, UPS meter and FedEx meter. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Warehouse environment. Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping. Exposure to heat, cold, fumes in open warehouse. May require occasional lifting up to 75 pounds. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
