Under the general supervision of the Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) and Interventional Radiology (IR). The Clinical Coordinator plans, organizes, directs, and oversees the clinical and educational activities of nursing personnel engaged in the delivery of patient care in the CCL. Assists in the daily operation of the unit, supervising, and ensuring the proper use of time, equipment, and staff. Ensures high quality patient care through proper training of staff. Develops policies and procedures for the department and maintains emergency equipment. Continually assess care and directs staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care when necessary. Ensures safe delivery of care to all patients. Assists in data collection to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid Registered Nurse Licensure 2. Previous supervisory experience, preferred. 3. Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology Experience 4. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 5. ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 6. BSN preferred.
