Senior Finance Analyst- General Purpose Credit Card CFO Team

About this role:

This is a Senior Finance Analyst role which will partner and support the General Purpose Credit Card (GPCC) team within the Wells Fargo Credit Card business. The GPCC team is responsible for the management and growth of Wells Fargo’s Branded Consumer Credit Cards. This position will support the GPCC team with their finance needs including forecasting, month-end reporting, expense management, financial analysis & evaluations, and investment & marketing decisions.

In this role, you will:

Partner with GPCC senior leaders and their teams to be the their trusted financial support and advisor

Provide month-end financial reporting, financial forecasting by product including revenue, charge off, and expenses

Understand and support aspects of the GPCC financials including investment determination, project management, expense management, new account and portfolio performance

Prepare presentations for Branded Cards and Marketing efforts to senior management

Collaborate across Finance to support forecasting, investment decisions, FP&A, reporting, rewards management and expense work related to the GPCC business

Partner with Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Credit Risk and other areas of the Bank as necessary to support the GPCC business

Participating in the forecasting process, working with the Finance Forecasting team to ensure accurate product/vintage forecasting and coordinating with the necessary business teams

Support ad hoc business and finance needs across Cards/Wells Fargo

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting

Finance experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, analytics, reporting or financial/statistical modeling

Understanding the financial side and the strategic side of the business to assist the business in its growth efforts

Ability to translate and present financials, projects and data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work and manage effectively in a matrixed organization

Knowledge and understanding of Essbase Finance tools for reporting and analysis

Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills with a high level of proficiency with Excel

Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, including to senior executive-level leaders

Credit card experience
