The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of Information Technology (IT) to enhance patient care, ensure data security, and drive organizational efficiency and growth. This critical role involves leading the IT function with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and compliance, and overseeing all IT operations, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, electronic health records, data management, and emerging technologies. The CIO and VP will also be tasked with developing and implementing a forward-looking IT strategy, advising on the impact of emerging technologies in healthcare, and leading efforts to protect sensitive patient data. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in information technology, with at least 5 years' in IT leadership roles, and 5 years' in healthcare IT management. The role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, as well as a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Essential skills include knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, EHR systems, data management, and software implementation, along with strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree and relevant certifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with EHR systems and in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.
